According to Crickex App insights, Empire Reborn divides its map into six starting zones, three resource zones, and the central capital zone known as Junlin. New players often feel lost at first—not only unsure of where to go, but also unclear on how to get there. After entering the game, players will be placed randomly within one of the six starting zones, marking the beginning of their conquest. Each resource zone features four gateways, which become the first major strategic targets for alliances. Capturing these entry points allows access to the resource zones, speeding up development through enhanced resource acquisition.
Eventually, players will progress through the six main gateways to reach the capital zone, preparing for battle in the Imperial Capital—the pinnacle of glory in Empire Reborn. The game features four troop types: spearmen, cavalry, archers, and swordsmen, all locked in a balanced counter-relationship. Crickex App players are encouraged to select a primary troop type based on personal preference but should aim to deploy units that counter the enemy during early expansion phases.
Heroes are categorized into three combat styles—Commander, Warrior, and Strategist. Each hero specializes in one or two unit types. Teaming up heroes with matching combat styles and specialties can grant valuable attribute bonuses to the squad. However, in early gameplay, it’s not essential to match styles perfectly. Players can adjust their lineups later when more heroes become available.
Initially, only one hero can be deployed, with a second and third slot unlocking over time. The second slot becomes available fairly early, while the third usually unlocks the next day. To stay ahead, avoid relying solely on one hero, as dependency can become a bad habit. Instead, train backup heroes in parallel to prevent level gaps from slowing down progress.
Wei Lan is a free starter hero. If players begin with an archer-based setup, Constantine can be chosen from an early storyline decision that also includes Jon. Andrea is unlocked through the second-day sign-in, perfectly timed to fill the third hero slot. Later on, Lady Yu can replace Constantine for a stronger team composition. Julius is available through the Empire Star event, and players choosing Jon can obtain the Shadow Dancer through Light of Departure recruitment. In the early days when heroes are limited, Wei Lan and Li Daoxuan are reliable substitutes.
Longdan General can be unlocked through the Fund feature, while the Warrior Saint and Lady Yu are obtained via the first recharge bonus. Eventually, Masked General can take over from Lady Yu to complete a high-synergy cavalry team. This setup can also be recruited from the Day One pack “Rise of the Overlord.” Xiang Chu can be secured as a guaranteed reward through premium recruitment, while Boudica and Friedrich are obtained via daily log-ins. Once Mu Ying is acquired, he can replace Boudica for an even stronger squad.
No matter the situation, it’s essential to view every challenge from multiple perspectives. High-level dungeons in Empire Reborn offer substantial rewards but require Crickex App users to bring well-equipped teams and solid tactics to conquer them successfully.
